Can I run a community for free?
Yes. Free includes unlimited members, public or private access, five spaces, one course, chat, events, routine member notifications and a standard-rule competition. Paid plans add capacity and tools for operating a larger community; your members do not need TraderWaves Pro to join.
How do public and private communities work?
Choose an open community, an approval-based application or an invite-only group. You decide whether your community is listed in discovery. Inside it, roles and space permissions let you keep some conversations and courses private.
Can I sell my courses or memberships?
Host and deliver your content on TraderWaves while taking payments through your existing checkout. Grant member and course access manually or through the member-management API. Native marketplace payments are a future addition; they are not required to use the community.
What is the difference between standard and custom competitions?
Free communities can run a competition using a published TraderWaves ruleset. Pro and Business can configure the eligible brokers and account types, period, rules and winning criteria. Members opt in with connected accounts. Each competition displays its scoring and eligibility rules before traders enter.
Can I see every member’s trading data?
Members control what they share. Trading analytics and mentor reviews use the accounts and journal details a member has explicitly made available to your community. Joining a group does not give its owner automatic access to a private trading journal.
Are emails and live video included?
Routine community notifications and event reminders are included. Marketing broadcasts, subscriber segmentation and email automations use the optional Email add-on. Schedule live events with your existing streaming or video-call links; a native video-conferencing subscription is not included.
Can you help us move from another platform?
Yes. Contact us about your current community, courses or email platform. We’ll agree what can be moved, help map your spaces and access, and plan the member invitation process. Scoped migration assistance is included for founding annual Business communities; email migration is available with the Email add-on.
Is Community Pro the same as TraderWaves Pro?
They are separate plans. Community Pro is for the owner’s community and management tools. TraderWaves Pro upgrades an individual trader’s personal tools. Your community can welcome both free and Pro traders.
