Price alerts

Mark the level you care about and step away from the screen. When price gets there, you’ll know.
- Set it on the level.Place a price alert straight onto the chart, then drag it to adjust. Your alerts show as lines, so you can see what you’re waiting for.
- Above, below or crossing.Trigger when price is above or below your level, or crosses it in either direction. Once it fires, switch it back on whenever you need it again.

What is WaveCharts™?

Are the charts free?
Yes. WaveCharts™ is included on the Free plan, with 1,000+ markets, every timeframe and drawing tool, multi-chart layouts, economic events and sessions. Pro adds your trades and open positions on the chart, your broker’s own markets and prices, price alerts and more watchlists.
Which markets can I chart?
Yes, most of the ones traders ask about. There are more than 1,000 markets: stocks, ETFs, forex pairs, indices, crypto, commodities, metals and bond futures. You can search the full list on this page. With Pro and a connected account, you can also chart the exact markets your broker offers.
Which timeframes are available?
Yes, 22 of them: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 30 and 45 minutes; 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 12 hours; and daily, weekly and monthly.
Can I see my own trades on the chart?
Yes, with Pro. Connect your account and your closed trades appear as entry and exit markers on the chart, with open positions showing their stop loss and take profit. Click a marker to open the trade in your journal.
Can I set price alerts from the chart?
Yes, with Pro. Place an alert on a price level, choose whether it triggers above, below or on a cross, and pick how you hear about it: in TraderWaves, by push on the mobile and desktop apps, by email or on Telegram.
Can I have more than one chart open?
Yes. Choose from five layouts with up to four charts, and sync the market and timeframe across them or keep each chart independent.
Do my drawings and layout save?
Yes. Drawings are saved for each market, and your layout and chosen markets are saved to your account, so they’re there when you come back on any device.
Can I use custom indicators?
No, not yet. WaveCharts™ includes indicators such as moving averages, RSI, MACD and Bollinger Bands today. More indicators, and custom indicators you build yourself, are coming soon.
