Is the trading journal free?
Yes. The Free plan includes the trading journal with notes, screenshots and templates, a configurable dashboard and the P&L calendar. It is a free forever plan, not a trial, and you don’t need a credit card.
Do I need to connect a broker to get started?
No. You can import trades from a CSV file or add them manually. When you are ready, connect a supported platform such as MetaTrader 4 or 5, cTrader, Match-Trader, TradeLocker or Tradovate to bring trades in automatically. The Free plan includes up to three connected accounts.
Which platforms support BrokerView and equity analysis?
BrokerView uses price data from an eligible connected MetaTrader 5 account and is part of Pro. Equity and drawdown analysis is also part of Pro and uses one-minute data on supported platforms. Check the supported platforms page for your broker.
What does Pro add?
Pro adds Backtesting, Wave AI, Alerts, equity and drawdown analysis, BrokerView, unlimited connected accounts, premium metrics and CSV export. It costs $19.99 a month billed annually ($239.88 a year), or $29.99 billed monthly.
Can I use TraderWaves on mobile?
Yes. TraderWaves has native iOS and Android apps for keeping up with your journal, performance and alerts, and the web workspace works on phones and tablets too.
